The Battle for Percy's Bottom. Pt1
German parachutists are reported as landing in the dead centre of the village of Percy's Bottom. Captain Russell ( Rusty) Ball-Baring has put the word out that any British or Allied Forces in the area should meet him outside the village to help defeat the invaders.
A Polish cavalry section and a pair of troopers armed with a light mortar accompanied Captain Ball-Baring to scout the graveyard where the Germans had been sighted.
A hail of fire obliterated the veteran cavalry and they retreated to regroup.
The mortar cleared out a sniper nest evening the odds, however the Captain decided to take matters into his own hands and charge the German officer, who proceeded to put him out of action.
A win to the Germans.
