Lieutenant Vondodenburg, leading Wotan
After a hard fought battle that was marked by house to house fighting the Italian troops were convinced that they should remain with the Axis forces and continue with the invasion.
After initial deployment both sides fought cautiously, running from house to house to avoid heavy enemy fire.
The Panzer II rolled exceedingly well against heavier Italian armor, not being able to destroy them but keeping them out of the action by pinning them.
Neither side could get a clear advantage but in the end this battle for Northern Ireland went to the invaders based on point differential.
